Position: Retail Store Manager
Location: Livermore, CA

This position reports directly to the District/Area Manager.
What you will achieve:
Leadership & Talent Development
  • Recruit, hire, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing leadership team and store associates.
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and customer-first culture that reflects POP MART's values and brand.
  • Conduct regular coaching, performance reviews, and development conversations to grow future leaders.
  • Create clear expectations, recognize achievements, and hold team members accountable for results.

Business & Sales Performance
  • Own the overall financial performance of the store, including sales, payroll, expenses, profitability, and operational execution.
  • Drive key performance indicators (KPIs), including:
    • Sales
    • Conversion
    • Units Per Transaction (UPT)
    • Average Transaction Value (ATV)
    • Payroll productivity
    • Inventory accuracy
    • Customer satisfaction
  • Analyze business trends and develop action plans to achieve or exceed performance goals.
  • Lead execution of product launches, limited-edition releases, and promotional campaigns.

Customer Experience
  • Champion an exceptional customer experience by creating an engaging, welcoming, and memorable shopping environment.
  • Ensure every team member delivers knowledgeable product recommendations and meaningful customer interactions.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador by promoting POP MART's artists, characters, collectibles, and unique retail experience.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally while building long-term customer loyalty.

Store Operations
  • Maintain full ownership of daily store operations, ensuring excellence in execution across all functional areas.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, safety standards, and loss prevention practices.
  • Oversee scheduling, payroll management, cash handling, inventory control, shipment processing, replenishment, and stockroom organization.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually compelling store environment that reflects POP MART's premium brand standards.

Visual Merchandising & Brand Execution
  • Execute visual merchandising strategies, marketing campaigns, promotional displays, and seasonal floor sets.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement new merchandising initiatives and store updates.
  • Ensure visual presentation consistently supports business objectives while delivering an engaging shopping experience.

Brand & Community
  • Support in-store events, pop-up activations, conventions, new store openings, and community engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with Robo Shop teams and business partners to support operational excellence where applicable.
  • Represent POP MART within the local community while helping grow brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Maintain flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods.
  • Travel up to 10% as needed to support new store openings, business meetings, training, or company initiatives, including occasional collaboration with international teams outside of standard business hours.

What you will need:
  • 3+ years of retail management experience leading high-volume, customer-focused retail stores.
  • Proven success managing sales performance, operational execution, and team development.
  • Experience leading teams of 10 or more employees, including coaching and developing leaders.
  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs and the ability to use business metrics to drive performance.
  • Experience executing visual merchandising standards and marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving retail environment.

Physical Requirements

Pay Range Details
The base salary range for this position is $75,000-$85,000 annually. This range is provided in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws and may vary based on geographic location. Individual compensation will be determined based on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and qualifications. This position may also be eligible to participate in the Company's incentive compensation program.
