Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced sales professional to manage strategic retail accounts and drive sustainable business growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing trusted executive relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and leading complex sales cycles across a portfolio of key customers.


This role requires strong commercial acumen, deep understanding of the retail industry, and the ability to collaborate effectively across a matrix organization to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.


Key Responsibilities

•    Own and develop a portfolio of strategic retail accounts, with responsibility for revenue growth and customer success.
•    Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and key business stakeholders.
•    Develop and execute long-term account strategies aligned with customer business priorities.

•    Identify, qualify, and close complex, high-value sales opportunities.
•    Drive pipeline generation and maintain forecast accuracy.
•    Lead commercial negotiations and contract discussions.

•    Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Services, Product, Marketing, Partners, and other cross-functional teams to maximize customer value.
•    Work effectively within an extended account team, leveraging internal expertise and aligning multiple stakeholders to execute customer strategies.
•    Partner closely with a Managing Partner or other executive account leaders, contributing to the overall account strategy while taking ownership of sales execution and commercial outcomes.

•    Identify whitespace opportunities and drive cross-sell and upsell initiatives.
•    Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and industry developments to position differentiated solutions.


Required Experience

•    8+ years of enterprise sales experience, preferably managing strategic retail accounts.
•    Proven track record of consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets.
•    Experience managing complex, multi-million euro sales opportunities.

•    Strong executive presence with the ability to engage and influence C-level stakeholders.
•    Ability to thrive in a highly collaborative, matrixed organization and work effectively with extended account teams.
•    Experience collaborating with senior account leaders, Managing Partners, or executive sponsors to deliver a unified customer strategy.

•    Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.

•    Strategic mindset combined with excellent execution capabilities.
•    Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

•    Experience selling enterprise software, cloud solutions, or digital transformation initiatives.
•    Knowledge of ERP, Supply Chain, Commerce, Customer Experience, Data & Analytics, or AI solutions.
•    Experience working with multinational retail organizations.
