Job description

NIR Retail LLC is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our property maintenance engineering team.

Full-time and Part-time hours available.

HOUSING AVAILABLE for full-time position!!

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the general condition of the retail property with regards to all aspects of basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, painting, grounds keeping and preventative maintenance work
  • Maintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program
  • Check work orders, make rounds checking these problem areas and note any information needed or safety concerns in the retail areas
  • Schedule work in accordance with preventive maintenance program, coordinating with the Operations Manager
  • Perform general maintenance to Retail public areas
  • Assist other engineering personnel as instructed by Operations Manager in regards to routine and preventive maintenance

Skills:

  • A basic knowledge of troubleshooting plumbing, HVAC and electrical issues
  • Previous experience in a similar position
  • Be a clear thinker and perform well under pressure work assignments.
  • Work and perform job functions with minimal supervision.

Applicants should also work well under pressure, possess excellent communication skills, be organized, flexible, self-motivated, and have a great sense of humor.
