This position has a base compensation range of $125,000.00 to $150,000.00. The Director of Business Development - Retail oversees large national accounts and national sales programs for the Company's products and services. Ensures growth and expansion by developing new business while also maintaining existing accounts and increasing business based on approved budgetary requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
โ€ข Prospects and qualifies new customers to maintain a target list of not less than 25 qualified pipeline opportunities
โ€ข Provides input to management to respond to changing market conditions, to improve internal efficiency and maximize results
โ€ข Maintains strong professional relationships with existing customers, including participating in regular customer business reviews,
โ€ข Anticipates or identifies evolving customer needs
โ€ข Assists in overseas campaigns and overseas visitors' requirements
โ€ข Supports and assists in the attainment of company goals and objectives aligned with the Hellmann Sales Strategy
โ€ข Ensures all bids are submitted in a timely manner to Tender Management for proper completion
โ€ข Prepares client quotations and presentation of proposals
โ€ข Maintains client records and commercial activity with complete and timely entry of information into the Hellmann customer relationship management "CRM" system
โ€ข Updates CRM with activities as per company guidelines
โ€ข Manages approximatley 25 target customers
โ€ข Travels as required
โ€ข Serves as liaison between customer and operational staff
โ€ข Performs other duties as assigned
