Senior Project Manager – Commercial / Retail / Industrial

Why is this role open
The firm is continuing to expand its commercial, retail, and industrial portfolio and is looking to add senior-level leadership to support current projects and future growth. This role is ideal for someone who wants to take ownership of complex projects while contributing to the long-term evolution of the practice.

Responsibilities
– Lead multiple commercial, retail, and industrial projects simultaneously
– Act as the primary point of contact for clients and key stakeholders
– Coordinate internal teams and external sub-consultants
– Oversee contract administration and conduct regular site visits
– Review and approve shop drawings, RFIs, proposals, and budgets
– Perform building code reviews and ensure compliance with current standards
– Review working drawings and permit sets for quality and coordination
– Resolve on-site construction and coordination challenges
– Support design development through sketches and occasional 3D studies
– Contribute to firm growth initiatives and mentor team members

Must-haves
– Professional degree in Architecture, Architectural Science, or Architectural Technology
– 15+ years of relevant experience, specifically in commercial, retail, and/or industrial sectors
– Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, detailing, and building science
– Proven experience leading multiple projects at once
– Confident communicator with clients, consultants, contractors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction
– Experience in contract administration and site coordination
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

Salary
$120,000 – $140,000 depending on experience.
