Job description

Interior Designer

GTA (Remote / Hybrid)

About Moralia

Moralia is a Canadian luxury millwork and interior design brand. We design and manufacture refined kitchens, closets, wall systems, and architectural interiors for discerning clients who value precision, refinement, and timeless design - across both residential and commercial environments.

We approach every project with exceptional care, precision, and discipline.

Our work integrates design excellence with technical rigor and thoughtful execution.

The Role

We are seeking an Interior Designer to join Moralia in a remote / hybrid capacity, supporting and leading projects across the GTA and select international locations.

This role is suited to a designer who has moved beyond junior execution and is ready to take increased responsibility - contributing meaningfully to design development, client coordination, and project delivery under senior guidance.

You will work closely with Moralia's leadership, senior designers, and millwork engineering team to ensure designs are refined, buildable, and executed to a high standard.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Developing interior design concepts under senior direction
  • Contributing to millwork-intensive residential and commercial projects
  • Assisting in client meetings, presentations, and coordination
  • Preparing drawings, layouts, and documentation
  • Coordinating finishes, materials, and lighting elements
  • Supporting site visits, site measurements, and field coordination
  • Producing and refining visualizations and renderings
  • Ensuring design intent aligns with technical and construction realities
Experience & Skills
  • 3+ years of professional interior design experience
  • Experience in high-end residential and/or design-driven commercial projects
  • Working knowledge of custom millwork and interior construction
  • Strong understanding of contemporary and modern design aesthetics
  • Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when appropriate
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Technical proficiency required:

  • AutoCAD
  • SketchUp
  • 3D rendering software (3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape, or similar)

Assets:

  • Experience with lighting design and coordination
  • Exposure to millwork engineering workflows
  • Familiarity with Mozaik or similar software
Who This Role Is For

This role is for someone who:

  • wants to grow within a serious, design-led studio
  • values precision, accountability, and execution
  • is eager to deepen technical understanding alongside design skill
  • takes pride in doing work properly, not quickly

This role is not for someone seeking:

  • purely conceptual or styling-focused work
  • a junior training role
  • a loosely structured environment
Work Structure
  • Remote / hybrid role
  • Availability for site visits is required
  • Access to a vehicle is expected
Compensation
  • Competitive salary commensurate with experience and responsibility
  • Opportunity for growth as capability and contribution increase

Excellence. Discipline. Pride in the work.

If you believe design reflects judgment - and you want to grow within a refined, excellence-driven brand - we would like to meet you.
