THE FIRM
TalentSphere is pleased to be working with an award-winning design firm working on global brands in the hospitality sector. The firm is known for its design excellence: delivering innovative design solutions to clients in the luxury hospitality (hotel) sector. They seek a seasoned professional accustomed to dealing with a wide range of design creatives across North America.
ROLE OVERVIEW

You have a passion for design and excellence. Are experienced overseeing teams of interior designers, architects, engineers and competing subconsultants. You've managed large scale hospitality projects with elite brands. You enjoy collaboration and problem solving. You are well travelled with lots of client facing experience: on site design compliance experience ensuring that artistic visions are realized. You can manage timesheets and budgets; seek an opportunity to grow and travel while meeting top tier clients.


WHAT'S REQUIRED

  • Bachelor or Master of Architecture (interior design focus); Bachelor of Interior Design or Fine Arts; PMP or Construction Management education a big plus
  • 10+ years work post graduate experience, 5+ years focused on large scale luxury hotels; globally in Canada, the U.S., Europe or the UAE
  • Experienced in contracts; travelling for design compliance; for projects with exceptional CD, DD, FFE, millwork, signage & branding & visualizations
  • Experience being the key liaison between the firm and client; maintaining high design standards; marking up drawings; providing timely solutions to value engineering problems & substitutions
  • Strong time management; excellent negotiation skills - car and driver's license
  • Software: AutoCAD, Bluebeam, working knowledge of Revit; PM tracking software; knowledge of Gantt charts; understanding of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign & Sketchup
  • Being a seasoned PM with a track record of building relationships with multiple stakeholders
