Job description

Aviston is a retail remodel construction company. Travel throughout the Eastern United States is requires. We typically serve the eastern half of the US. Travel typically is on a 3-5 week basis. We work with large retailers to provide national rollout programs in their stores.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

· Current Driver License required and reliable form of transportation

· Painting, Light carpentry, Flooring

· Unload, assemble, and install fixtures in major retail stores

· Able to use basic hand tools

· Prior construction experience is preferred; retail construction experience is helpful

· Own and have experience using hand and power tools

· Must own reliable transportation

· Work effectively on a team

· Perform general labor as assigned

· Take direction from supervisor

Aviston crew members must be dependable, able to follow directions, work well on teams, trustworthy, willing to work overnight and willing to travel. Lifting, standing, walking and climbing are often physical requirements of projects. Also, an ability to use common hand tools and to work with retail fixture components is important. Projects may involve varied work hours and travel. More information on specific physical requirements is available upon request.
