Overview:

2020 Companies is now hiring a remote Retail Insights & Analytics Manager representing Chromebook!

We are seeking a data-driven and strategic Retail Insights & Analytics Manager to transform complex program data into impactful, client-ready retail narratives. In this role, you will move beyond basic data reporting to overlay market trends and competitive intelligence, translating findings into "retail reality" for our Chromebook program operations within Best Buy.

You will lead the synthesis of data and insights for critical client touchpoints, managing the creation of weekly readouts, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and Yearly Business Reviews (YBRs). The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in retail analytics, commercial insights, or sales program operations, with expert-level proficiency in Google Workspace and AI platforms (Slides, Sheets, Docs, Gemini). You must possess the business acumen to articulate strategic takeaways and the flexibility to travel up to 50% across U.S. markets to stay grounded in field execution.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Synthesis & Translation: Review, analyze, and produce executive-ready competitive and market insights. Merge quantitative program KPIs with qualitative market feedback to present a holistic "retail reality”
  • Strategic Deliverables: Collaborate deeply with account and analytics teams to gather insights and format reporting, ensuring data is translated into clear, impactful takeaways
  • Executive Presentation Design: Lead the structural design and visual impact of crucial client readouts. Utilize advanced data visualization skills to ensure complex data sets are easy to digest, maintaining high professional standards and brand consistency
  • Performance Tracking: Incorporate program data and operational KPIs into structured narratives to support strategic recommendations
  • Feedback Loops: Evaluate data trends and program feedback regularly (such as field engagement surveys), refining analytical frameworks to maximize program impact
Core Deliverables Include:
  • Weekly Reporting & Deep Dives (in partnership with the analytics team)
  • Bi-Weekly and Monthly Client Leadership Readouts
  • High-Stakes QBR / YBR Reviews
  • Various Ad-Hoc Analytical Requests from Clients as Needed
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Business, Data Analytics, or Economics degree strongly preferred
  • 3–5 years of business, retail analytics, or sales management experience required (experience within the Best Buy ecosystem or consumer electronics is highly valued)
  • Expertise in Google Workspace & AI platform skills (Advanced Sheets for data modeling, Slides for presentation storytelling, Docs, and Gemini for rapid synthesis)
  • Superior analytical abilities paired with effective, professional client-facing communication and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to show good judgment, make autonomous data-driven decisions, and problem-solve complex retail challenges
  • Excellent time management skills with the capability to work autonomously
  • Must be able to travel 50% of the year to various markets across the US and work flexible hours
  • Ability to understand and manage business metrics aligned with P&L standards across the business unit
  • Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
