Retail administrative assistants often complete data entry for sales reports, use attendance information to predict necessary staffing levels, help with payroll, and maintain an associate hotline when employees or managers need to contact the store. You may be asked to communicate with customers, handle sensitive or confidential matters, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

A Retail Administrative Assistant supports the daily operations of a retail business by handling administrative and clerical tasks. Their responsibilities often include managing schedules, maintaining records, processing invoices, assisting with payroll, and communicating with vendors and staff. This position typically requires strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
