The Market Manager, Retail Broker - Southeast (based in Miami) is responsible for elevating executional performance across the Eastern United States by leading and developing Danone's retail agency partners. These broker organizations execute in-store activities on behalf of Danone, and this role ensures they consistently deliver against company standards through regular market visits, KPI tracking, coaching, and performance reviews.

As the primary steward of field execution quality, the Market Manager drives broker accountability for distribution, merchandising excellence, display activation, and overall retail readiness. This role helps maximize product availability, visibility, and conversion across the region. Success requires a highly organized, data-driven leader who can influence stakeholders, establish clear expectations, and hold teams accountable while building strong collaborative relationships.

The Market Manager will partner closely with Sales, Retail Execution, and Category Management teams to ensure alignment on priorities and seamless execution in the field. This position reports directly to the Director, Retail Execution - Southeast.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular in-store work-withs alongside broker field representatives to observe execution, provide coaching, and reinforce Danone priorities.
  • Hold broker partners accountable for coverage expectations, merchandising standards, and activation timelines.
  • Ensure broker resources are deployed effectively across priority accounts, geographic markets, and business needs.
  • Communicate clear and measurable performance expectations to broker District Managers and field leaders.
  • Validate broker routing and store coverage plans to ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Conduct performance audits and store-level assessments to verify compliance with Danone execution standards.
  • Support new product launches by ensuring broker readiness, clear task assignments, and successful placement execution.
  • Resolve store-level issues, including out-of-stocks, planogram gaps, and pricing inconsistencies, in partnership with broker teams and customers.
  • Manage execution scorecards and reporting to provide visibility into broker performance and key metrics.
  • Analyze audit and scorecard data to identify trends, diagnose gaps, and develop action plans.
  • Lead business reviews with broker leadership teams to assess results, discuss opportunities, and align on corrective actions.
  • Validate broker reporting accuracy and ensure timely completion of required deliverables.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customer teams and broker partners to ensure priorities are communicated and executed consistently.
  • Share marketplace intelligence, competitive insights, and field observations with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage execution across a large and diverse geography with varying customer needs, store formats, and broker structures.
  • Ensure broker teams adhere to standardized operating routines that drive consistency and efficiency.

The salary range for this position is $100,000- $140,000 USD. The exact salary offered will depend on several factors, including the candidate’s relevant experience, geographic location, internal equity, and market conditions. About You
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5-8 years of experience in retail execution, sales leadership, or CPG field management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and convert insights into action.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage complexity, prioritize effectively, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with POS or syndicated data systems.
  • Ability to travel up to 65%; valid driver's license required.
  • Capability to support retail environments, including occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
