Restructuring & Insolvency Associate
Direct Counsel represents a prestigious AmLaw firm seeking a mid-level Restructuring & Insolvency Associate to join its Charlotte, Portland, or Seattle office.
Locations: Charlotte, NC | Portland, OR | Seattle, WA
Experience: 3–5 Years
Compensation: $210,000–$340,000
This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated bankruptcy, restructuring, and insolvency matters while collaborating with attorneys across a national platform.
Ideal candidates will have experience with:
- Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings
- Commercial bankruptcy and insolvency matters
- Representing debtors and creditors
- State law insolvency proceedings
- Out-of-court restructurings
- Avoidable transfer litigation (preferred)
- Asset sales (preferred)
- Bankruptcy judicial clerkship experience (preferred)
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- 3–5 years of restructuring, insolvency, or bankruptcy experience
- Strong academic credentials
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to manage matters independently and work collaboratively
- California bar admission is a plus, but not required
