AVAILABLE FOR WINTER, SPRING, AND SUMMER BREAKS!!!

Looking for a Collegiate Challenge/Alternative Break experience that makes a lasting impact? Spend your week helping build affordable homes, supporting our mission in our ReStores, and exploring one of the most vibrant cities on the East Coast.

Groups of five or more can volunteer with Richmond Metropolitan Habitat for Humanity on our construction sites and in our ReStores, making a tangible difference for local families while strengthening teamwork, building new friendships, and creating unforgettable memories.

A typical week includes:

  • ReStore volunteer days
  • Hands-on homebuilding alongside our construction team
  • Free time to explore everything Richmond has to offer

We'll even provide lunch on one of your volunteer days!

When you're not volunteering, discover why Richmond is such a great destination. Explore historic neighborhoods, enjoy the James River and its many parks, visit museums, experience RVA's incredible local food scene, or take a day trip to the mountains, Virginia Beach, or Washington, DC, all within about 90 minutes.
