Restoration / Mitigation Supervisor -New Orleans

Position Summary:   

The Mitigation/Restoration Supervisor at ServiceMaster Restoration is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all mitigation work related to water, fire, storm, and mold damage. This position ensures that all projects are completed efficiently, safely, and according to ServiceMaster’s quality standards and industry best practices. The Mitigation Supervisor manages field technicians, ensures proper documentation and customer communication, and supports the company’s mission to deliver exceptional property restoration services.   

Key Responsibilities:   

  • Supervise and lead mitigation crews through all phases of mitigation response and restoration projects.
  • Evaluate project scope and develop detailed work plans for mitigation services.
  • Perform on-site inspections, moisture mapping, monitoring, and documentation using ServiceMaster’s operational processes and software.
  • Ensure all work complies with IICRC standards and applicable safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Estimators, and administrative teams to ensure accurate job costing, documentation, and billing.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate field technicians to maintain high performance and adherence to company procedures.
  • Maintain proper use and maintenance of equipment, vehicles, and PPE.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, adjusters, and insurance representatives, ensuring excellent customer service and timely project updates.
  • Oversee daily job assignments, crew scheduling, and on-call rotation participation.
  • Conduct final walkthroughs to confirm completion and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Requirements:   

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate or bachelor’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in water/fire mitigation or property restoration.
  • IICRC certifications highly preferred (WRT, ASD, FSRT, AMRT, etc.).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under time-sensitive conditions.
  • Proficiency with restoration documentation software (e.g., DASH, Encircle, Xactimate, or similar).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Availability for on-call, after-hours, and weekend emergency response work.
