Position Overview:
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for managing residential and/or commercial reconstruction projects, focusing on customer service, communication, and quality. This role ensures the successful completion of projects, from water, storm, fire, and mold restoration to full structural repair and remodeling. The Project Manager will work closely with estimators, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget, while maintaining exceptional communication with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and oversee the production of residential and commercial reconstruction projects, ensuring all work meets high-quality standards.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and ensuring their needs are met throughout the project.
  • Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, field teams, and suppliers to ensure projects stay on schedule.
  • Ensure projects adhere to the scope, budget, and timeline while maintaining flexibility to address any changes or challenges.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining open lines of communication with clients to manage expectations and address concerns.
  • Collaborate with estimators to review budgets, labor, and material costs, making adjustments as needed.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to verify work quality and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, photos, and client communications, in the company's CRM system.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any project delays or issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Ensure all project outcomes align with company and insurance standards, delivering a positive client experience.

Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Customer service and communication skills are a MUST: The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with both residential and/or commercial clients is essential.
  • Project Management experience: 3+ years of experience managing residential and/or commercial restoration projects.
  • Familiarity with Xactimate: Understanding estimates created in Xactimate is required, though direct estimating experience is not required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent negotiation skills when working with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required.

Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of building codes, construction practices, and restoration standards.
  • Experience in customer-facing roles within the construction or restoration industry.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
