Restoration Manager & Restoration Technician

Pay: Restoration Technician – $18.00/hour | Restoration Manager – $25.00/hour
Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift
Location: Portland, OR

Available Positions:

Restoration Technician – $18.00/hour

  • Perform water extraction, demolition, drying, and cleanup after water, fire, mold, or storm damage.
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment, air movers, and dehumidifiers.
  • Remove damaged building materials and assist with restoration and reconstruction efforts.
  • Maintain equipment, vehicles, and clean, organized job sites.
  • Follow company safety procedures and restoration protocols.
  • Deliver professional customer service while working alongside an experienced team.

Restoration Manager – $25.00/hour

  • Lead water and fire restoration projects from initial inspection through completion.
  • Prepare accurate estimates using Xactimate.
  • Meet with customers, explain the restoration process, and obtain signed work authorizations.
  • Manage restoration jobs independently while coordinating technicians, subcontractors, and scheduling.
  • Communicate with homeowners, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders throughout each project.
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to company quality standards.
  • Participate in an after-hours on-call rotation with call-out bonuses for emergency response.
  • Opportunity to transition into a full-time position with eligibility for a performance bonus after 90 days.

Qualifications:

Restoration Technician

  • Previous restoration, construction, demolition, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong work ethic with dependable attendance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license preferred.

Restoration Manager

  • Previous water and fire restoration experience is required.
  • Proficiency in Xactimate estimating software is required.
  • Ability to prepare estimates, obtain customer signatures, and manage restoration projects independently.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience working with insurance claims is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in varying job site conditions.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Comfortable working indoors, outdoors, and in environments affected by water, fire, or mold damage.

Schedule Details:

  • Full-time positions.
  • Monday-Friday with occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call availability for emergency restoration services.
  • Overtime opportunities may be available.
