Supported by Guardian's leadership team and a network of General Managers across our partner companies, you will have access to the resources and expertise needed to accelerate growth while strengthening operational performance. The right leader will bring commercial instincts, operational discipline, and the ability to translate strategy into measurable results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the overall performance of Dry Kings, with full accountability for revenue, EBITDA, cash flow, operational execution, customer experience, and team performance.
  • Develop and execute a market-level growth strategy that increases revenue, expands market share, and strengthens Dry Kings' competitive position in the San Francisco market.
  • Build a consistent sales and business-development operating cadence, including pipeline visibility, forecasting, performance metrics, and clear accountability for results.
  • Strengthen and expand relationships with referral partners, customers, and other local market stakeholders to generate sustainable organic growth.
  • Identify new customer segments, referral channels, service opportunities, and geographic expansion opportunities that align with the company's capabilities and growth objectives.
  • Ensure operational capacity, staffing, processes, and service delivery keep pace with growth while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze financial and operating performance to identify opportunities to improve pricing, productivity, cost management, gross margin, and overall profitability.
  • Build, coach, and retain a high-performing leadership team capable of delivering both commercial and operational results.
  • Establish clear goals and performance expectations across the business, using data and operating metrics to reinforce accountability and guide decisions.
  • Develop an initial assessment of the business and its highest-value growth opportunities within the first 60 days, followed by a prioritized 90-day action plan.
  • Increase Dry Kings' visibility and reputation within the community, positioning the company as a preferred provider of restoration services.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, safety requirements, and Guardian policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive leadership experience with responsibility for business operations, financial performance, and team leadership, ideally within restoration, home services, field services, or another distributed service environment.
  • Demonstrated success growing an existing business through organic revenue generation, market expansion, referral development, and disciplined sales execution.
  • Proven experience owning and managing a P&L, including revenue forecasting, budgeting, margin improvement, and delivery of EBITDA targets.
  • Ability to balance commercial growth with operational capacity, service quality, and profitability.
  • Experience building performance expectations, sales processes, operating rhythms, and accountability within an evolving organization.
  • Strong understanding of local relationship-based selling and the ability to develop durable referral and customer partnerships.
  • Track record of building, coaching, and retaining high-performing teams and leaders.
  • Strong financial acumen, commercial judgment, and ability to translate market opportunities into executable plans.
