We're seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to join the leadership team of our new full-service restaurant opening in Summit, New Jersey.

This is an exciting opportunity to help launch a new restaurant, build a high-performing team, and establish a welcoming culture centered on exceptional hospitality. The Restaurant Manager will oversee daily operations, develop team members, support financial performance, and create memorable experiences for every guest.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Assist with the successful opening and ongoing operation of our new restaurant.
• Oversee daily restaurant operations and lead the team throughout each shift.
• Recruit, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
• Maintain exceptional standards for service, food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
• Create a welcoming and engaging experience for every guest.
• Establish clear expectations and hold team members accountable for performance.
• Assist with scheduling, payroll, inventory, purchasing, and labor management.
• Monitor sales, labor, food costs, beverage costs, and other operating expenses.
• Support front-of-house and back-of-house operations during peak business periods.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and daily administrative responsibilities.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest feedback and resolve concerns.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and all federal, state, and local requirements.
• Promote teamwork, open communication, and a positive restaurant culture.
• Assume responsibility for restaurant operations in the General Manager’s absence.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• At least 2–3 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a high-volume, full-service environment.
• Experience supporting a new restaurant opening is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and guest-service skills.
• Experience supervising front-of-house and back-of-house operations.
• Knowledge of restaurant financials, labor management, inventory, and cost controls.
• Ability to recruit, train, motivate, and retain team members.
• Strong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• ServSafe Manager certification and applicable alcohol-service certification, or the ability to obtain them.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
