Job description

The Bell Tower Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor and on the University of Michigan’s main campus. The Bell Tower Hotel is elegant and provides gracious service which includes modern accommodations, valet parking and complimentary continental breakfast buffet. Our extraordinary staff has an immediate opening for a Full-time Valet. The Bell Tower Hotel offers competitive wages.

Purpose/Objective: To greet guests upon arrival and assist them with checking in and out of the Bell Tower Hotel with their transportation and belongings while generally maintaining the appearance of the hotel lobby and entryway.

Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):

  • Provide superior service to our customers (internal and external) at all times.
  • Assist guests checking in or out with baggage, answering questions, making deliveries, etc.
  • Secure items too large for guest rooms in appropriate storage rooms.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of lobby and entryway; shovel snow and perform various cleaning assignments.
  • Make taxi, restaurant and other reservations for guests.
  • Assist front desk staff as needed in delivering messages and requested items to guest and other staff as needed.
  • Assist housekeeping staff as needed; deliver and pick up laundry, deliver towels, soap or other items to rooms.
  • Retrieve and park cars in the designated area.
  • Cross-train as continental breakfast attendant, front desk agent and in housekeeping.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned .
