We are looking for a food & hospitality focused Service Manager with a passion for quality food service and a desire to participate in our vision to create a world class, nationally recognized collegiate dining program. The individual should possess the ability to execute our vision of excellence and to build and motivate a team for achieving this vision.


Position Summary 

Provides direction to hourly employees in the area of customer service through training and development of hourly employees on a consistent basis. 

Assists operations management in a leadership/managerial role whose concentration is front of the house customer service. 


Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide direction in service training to hourly employees.
  • Ensure proper hiring, orientation, training, evaluating, mentoring, and disciplining which will lead to employee and store success. 
  • Consistently supervises, manages, and inspects all hourly employees to ensure readiness and ability to perform to company standards.
  • Ensures guest satisfaction through proper internal controls.
  • Prioritizes employee, customer, and operational needs to ensure problems are handled quickly, effectively, and efficiently. 
  • Promotes positive open communication in a team environment.
  • Inspects and administers employee uniform and personal hygiene standards. 
  • Instructs employees on food service delivery, presentation, and customer service.
  • Assist restaurant employees in the area of food delivery and preparation. 
  • Other duties as assigned.


 Job Skills & Requirements

  • Minimum FOUR years food service or restaurant experience 
  • Minimum TWO years of Supervisory experience in a food service or restaurant setting.
  • Must have reliable transportation. 
  • Must be available to work up to 50 hours per week, may include weekends and some holidays 
  • Must possess great people skills, demonstrated leadership and team building along with a pleasant disposition. 
  • Must possess novice computer skills including Internet, Excel, Word and Google Suite. 
  • Must demonstrates ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in English (Conversational kitchen Spanish a help). 
  • Must be able to pass test to become Serve Safe certified. 

Pay Range: $20- $24 per hour
