Summary:
The Restaurant Take-Out Specialist is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring accuracy and efficiency
in handling all take-out and delivery orders. They act as the primary point of contact for take-out customers, answering phone
calls, taking orders in person, and coordinating with kitchen staff to ensure timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
● Order Taking:
○ Accurately take phone and in-person orders, ensuring all details are captured correctly, including special requests
and modifications.
○ Suggestively sell menu items, promoting specials and add-ons to enhance the customer's experience.
○ Clearly communicate order details to the kitchen staff using the restaurant's POS system or other designated
methods.

● Order Preparation and Packaging:
○ Carefully package take-out orders, ensuring food items are secure and presented attractively.
○ Double-check order contents against the receipt or order details to prevent errors and omissions.
○ Label orders clearly with customer names, order numbers, and any special instructions.
● Customer Service:
○ Greet customers warmly and professionally.
○ Answer customer inquiries about menu items, specials, and order status in a friendly and informative manner.
○ Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and courteously, escalating issues to management when
necessary.
● Payment Processing:
○ Accurately process payments using the restaurant's POS system, accepting cash, credit cards, and other approved
payment methods when necessary.
○ Provide customers with receipts and change, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
● Organization and Cleanliness:
○ Maintain a clean and organized take-out station, ensuring all supplies are stocked and readily available.
○ Assist in cleaning and sanitizing the take-out area, including countertops, phones, and packaging materials.
● Additional Duties:
