Job description

The Restaurant General Manager will lead a medium-sized management team of 10-30 staff within a quick-service restaurant environment. Reporting to the Regional Manager, this role ensures operational excellence through effective staff management, financial oversight, and quality control while occasionally traveling for meetings to align with regional objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team of restaurant staff to ensure high performance and collaboration
  • Oversee customer service standards to guarantee guest satisfaction
  • Control budget and oversee financial reporting to meet profitability goals
  • Maintain inventory levels and manage ordering to prevent shortages or excess
  • Develop and maintain employee schedules for optimal coverage
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and operational regulations
  • Conduct training programs to develop staff skills and knowledge
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain consistent food and service standards
