As an Operations Manager, you’re in charge of your own restaurant. Responsibilities:
- Leadership and staff management: Recruit, train, schedule, and manage a team of employees to ensure high performance and excellent customer service. This includes "leading from the front" in production and service duties
- Financial management: Manage sales and profit projections, control food costs, and work to achieve financial targets and profitability goals
- Daily operations: Oversee all daily operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, from production to customer service
- Compliance: Ensure the restaurant complies with all health, safety, and company policies.
- Inventory and supplies: Maintain adequate inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment
- Customer service: Address guest concerns promptly and ensure customers have a pleasant dining experience
- Maintenance: Inspect the restaurant (inside and outside) and address any maintenance and cleaning issues
Requirements:
- Strong leadership and "can-do" attitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in managing inventory, labor, and point-of-sale systems
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to adapt to a structured schedule and work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable interacting with both customers and associates
