Job Overview: As an Expo (Expeditor), you play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of food from the kitchen to the dining area. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work collaboratively with the kitchen and service staff are essential to providing a high-quality dining experience for our guests.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Food Quality Control:

  • Inspect all dishes before they leave the kitchen to ensure they meet quality and presentation standards.

  • Verify that each order is complete, correctly garnished, and matches the customer's order.

  • Address any discrepancies or issues with the kitchen staff promptly.

2. Timing and Coordination:

  • Coordinate the timing of food orders with the kitchen team to ensure all dishes for a table are ready simultaneously.

  • Ensure that hot dishes are served hot and cold dishes are served cold.

  • Monitor the pace of the meal to ensure a smooth dining experience.

3. Order Accuracy:

  • Cross-check orders against tickets to confirm accuracy and completeness.

  • Communicate any special requests, dietary restrictions, or modifications to the kitchen.

  • Verify that each dish corresponds to the appropriate table and guest.

4. Garnish and Presentation:

  • Ensure that each dish is garnished and plated according to established standards.

  • Verify that plates are clean, and presentation is visually appealing.

  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to correct any presentation issues.

5. Communication:

  • Maintain clear and effective communication with the kitchen team, servers, and management.

  • Relay order status and any special guest requests promptly.

6. Cleanliness and Organization:

  • Keep the expo station clean, organized, and well-stocked with necessary supplies.

Physical Requirements:
