Restaurant General Manager – Princeton, NJ

Position Summary:
The Restaurant General Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of restaurant operations, including financial performance, team development, guest experience, and operational execution. This role requires a strong, hands-on leader who can build high-performing teams, maintain exceptional service standards, and drive consistent profitability in a high-quality dining environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all daily restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of-house performance
  • Lead, train, and develop management and hourly staff to ensure strong service execution and team engagement
  • Drive sales and profitability through effective cost control, labor management, and operational efficiency
  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by maintaining high standards of service, food quality, and hospitality
  • Manage P&L responsibilities, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
  • Implement and enforce operational procedures, policies, and brand standards
  • Oversee staffing, scheduling, hiring, onboarding, and performance management
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations
  • Address and resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally
  • Collaborate with culinary and leadership teams to support menu execution and operational improvements
