Food & Beverage Facilities Cleaner

Immediate Supervisor: Manager on Duty

Job Summary:

The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition. By taking care of our facilities through routine cleaning and maintenance duties.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Blow/sweep off patio every morning.
  • Spray off the patio with a hose every morning.
  • Rake sand behind the Cafรฉ. tidy up the area around the fire pits (re-adjust chairs, pull weeds, throw away trash, reset games, etc.).

  • Wash/rinse/dry windows daily.
  • Sweep floors daily.
  • Mop floors daily.
  • Restock and properly maintain cleaning station.
  • Vacuum ballroom daily.
  • Clean and dust walls and bar front.
  • Routinely clean floorboards and air vents.
  • Interact with Guests and Co-workers in positive and hospitable manner
  • Follow Dolphin Hotel Management policies as listed in the Employee Handbook

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

  • A reasonable level of fitness.
  • Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
  • Able to manage time effectively.
  • Ability to work both alone and in a team.
  • Awareness of health and safety procedures.

Formal Education:

High School Graduate or equivalent.

Experience:

At least 1 year of experience and in applicable work environment.

Physical Requirements:

While performing the duties of this job,ย  the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, bend, walk use hands to finger, or feel objects, tools or controls, lift boxes (up to 50 pounds), talk and hear. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision to a computer screen.
