7+ years of experience in designing and developing highly scalable and performant distributed applications using Java, JavaScript, Python and/or Scala 

Good Understanding of SOA/REST concepts and experience in developing and consuming SOAP and RESTful web services (JAX-WS and JAX-RS) 

Experienced in using open source tools/projects, such as Spring, Jersey, Hibernate, kafka etc. 

Strong system and application troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
