Rivel’s Research division is currently seeking a motivated Investor Research & Engagement Specialist with flexibility across time zones to join us in a fully remote or hybrid capacity, if local to Westport, CT.

About You
This is an excellent opportunity for financial services professionals, business-to-business marketing research specialists or individuals with strong interviewing and finance experience. The ideal candidate is a polished communicator who can build rapport with investment community respondents, conduct thoughtful research interviews, meet assigned quotas and support the creation of high-quality research deliverables for senior level audiences.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conduct engaging, executive-level interviews with senior investment community and corporate audiences, including buy-side investors, sell-side analysts, C-suite executives, management teams and board directors
  • Reach out to client-provided samples via multiple communication channels to secure interview participation and meet assigned quotas while maintaining a high standard of quality, accuracy and responsiveness
  • Build rapport with respondents by communicating professionally, sharing relevant research context and encouraging thoughtful participation
  • Use persistence, persuasion and creative problem-solving to advance challenging studies and support successful project completion
  • Collaborate with research team members on qualitative and quantitative research activities and perform other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Financial services background; investor relations experience a plus
  • Polished executive interviewing skills with excellent verbal and written communication
  • Ability to summarize research clearly and concisely for senior-level audiences
  • Friendly, proactive approach with strong relationship-building and respondent engagement skills
  • Sales aptitude, including comfort with outreach, persuasion and follow-up
  • Innovative and technologically savvy, with the ability to learn technical programs quickly
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy and proofreading
  • Self-motivated and responsive, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple studies with flexibility to work across multiple time zones
  • Qualitative and quantitative research experience or aptitude; financial acumen or ability to learn financial concepts quickly
  • Fluency in additional languages is a plus
  • Alignment with Rivel’s core values

The base range of compensation for this role is $70,000 - $80,000. Compensation for this position is adjusted based on skill, effort, responsibility, education, training, credentials, geographic location, working conditions and/or experience.
