Caregiver / Respite Worker

Urgent Hiring – Multiple Openings Available

365 Home Care is currently seeking compassionate and dependable Caregivers/Respite Workers to join our team. We have immediate openings throughout the San Gabriel Valley and Pomona areas, including San Gabriel, Pomona, Alhambra, El Monte, West Covina, Covina, La Verne, Claremont, Diamond Bar, Walnut, and surrounding communities.

A Respite Caregiver provides temporary relief to primary caregivers of individuals who require ongoing care, supervision, or assistance with daily activities. We serve children and adults ages 3 years and older.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, feeding, dressing, diaper changes, and light meal preparation.

• Support clients in leading independent lives while encouraging participation and engagement within their homes and communities.

• Create fun, creative, and meaningful activities that help clients develop important life skills.

• Support clients in making informed choices while promoting their rights and responsibilities.

• Utilize appropriate de-escalation techniques during behavioral outbursts when needed.

• Provide support to clients, their families, and the 365 Home Care team with additional tasks as necessary.

Flexible Scheduling:

Work as little as 4 hours per week or up to 40 hours per week. Caregivers have the flexibility to choose a schedule that works best for their availability and client needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

Required:
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to speak and write English.
• Must be willing to work with individuals with disabilities.
• Current CPR and First Aid Certification (training available for qualified applicants).
• Successful Live Scan background check.

Preferred:
• Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Job Details:

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected Hours: Minimum of 4 hours per week
