Description
American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of recent specialty experience for a 13-week hospital assignment in Atlanta.
Details
- Hospital-based Respiratory Care/Diagnostic Services unit
- 12-hour day shifts scheduled between 7:00am-7:30pm
- Every other weekend required
- 3 shifts per week, 36 hours guaranteed weekly
- 13-week contract length
- No on-call requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience within respiratory therapy specialty
- Current RRT certification through NBRC
- Georgia RRT license required
- AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and New Year's Day
- Must also work 1 minor holiday: the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
- Does not accept candidates living within 50 miles of the facility
- Returning staff previously employed permanently at the facility must have a 2-year break before returning as a travel employee
- RTO must be requested prior to accepting an offer and cannot be requested afterward
