Job description

Respiratory Therapist

Assess, treat, and monitor patients with cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions.

Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and other respiratory care modalities.

Operate and monitor respiratory equipment, including ventilators and related devices.

Perform respiratory assessments and document patient responses to therapy.

Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.

Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of recent Respiratory Therapist experience within the specialty.

Current Georgia Respiratory Care License (RRT).

Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.

Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

Additional Information

Local candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible.

Holiday coverage is required. Travelers must work 2 of the following major holidays:

  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year's Day

And 1 of the following minor holidays:

  • Day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve
