Schedule
- Weekends: Every other weekend

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience as a therapist
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, RRT OR CRTT with conditions
- Experience with trauma Level I/II preferred
- Must have experience with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication system
- Core clinical skills:
- ABG interpretation
- Mechanical ventilation: weaning, troubleshooting high-pressure alarms, extubation support
- Noninvasive support: CPAP, BiPAP, high-flow nasal cannula, flow-by
- Airway management: suctioning, airway management, trach care
- Aerosol/nebulizer therapy and bronchodilator therapies
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to patients across various age groups, including neonates, adults, and geriatrics.
- Administer therapeutic procedures according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Monitor and assess patient responses to respiratory therapies and adjust treatments as necessary.
- Educate patients and their families regarding respiratory therapies and care.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation in compliance with facility standards.
Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 36 hours, number of non-billable hours may vary by contract length.
- RTO (Request Time Off): Maximum 7 days per contract; RTO blackout during specific periods.
- Holiday coverage: Expected to work major holidays during assignment.
- Full compliance required to start on time; onboarding items must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
