Seeking a Medical Assistant-Currently Certified or Completed a Medical Assistant Certification Program

Gila Health Resources is seeking a Full-time Medical Assistant for its Safford Clinic. This position performs various duties such as phlebotomy, rooming patients, taking vitals, completing various tests/screenings, such as drug & alcohol collection, EKGs, pulmonary function, hearing, and respirator fit testing. Once fully trained for drug & alcohol screening, this position will involve working an after-hours on-call rotation. The successful candidate must possess excellent interpersonal, customer service, and patient skills, must work well with a team, be detail-oriented, be punctual, professional, positive, and reliable.

Prefer candidates who are certified as a Medical Assistant.

Employment is contingent on the successful completion of a post-offer drug and alcohol test and a successful background check, followed by compliance with GHR’s random and for-cause employee drug and alcohol testing policy during employment.
