Job description

MDW Associates is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical part-time HR Research Analyst to join our Corporate Operations team. This role will primarily support benefits and recruiting analysis by collecting, validating, and interpreting workforce data, developing recurring and ad hoc reports, researching market trends, and translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with HR data, maintains a high level of confidentiality, and can communicate analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
This position is fully remote.
The HR Research Analyst may perform a combination of some or all of the following duties:
  • Support annual benefits benchmarking, renewal analysis, open enrollment planning, and evaluation of benefit offerings.
  • Prepare benefits reports and summaries for Human Resources and company leadership.
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, applicant flow, candidate conversion, offer acceptance, and new-hire retention.
  • Conduct labor market, salary, benefits, and talent availability research to support recruiting and workforce planning decisions.
  • Assist with workforce reporting related to headcount, turnover, retention, hiring activity, vacancies, and other HR trends.
  • Prepare clear written summaries and presentations that explain findings, trends, risks, and recommended actions.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Experience/Skills:
  • This is an entry-level position designed for recent graduates seeking to begin a career in Human Resources analytics, benefits, recruiting, and workforce research. No prior professional experience is required.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to identify trends, reconcile data, and develop practical conclusions.
  • Ability to produce accurate reports and manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
