General Purpose of Job
The Energy Solutions Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations and performance of the Energy Solutions team and supervising employees responsible for delivering member-focused energy programs and solutions. Reporting to the Energy Solutions Manager, this position provides leadership, technical guidance, and operational oversight to ensure the effective, consistent and timely delivery of the cooperative's energy solutions programs. Responsibilities include supervising and supporting solar and distributed energy resource interconnections, energy efficiency programs, high energy usage investigations, residential and commercial energy audits, member and community engagement activities, energy education initiatives, departmental reporting, and other value-added energy solutions. The Energy Solutions Supervisor serves as a technical resource for employees and members, monitors program and team performance, maintains accurate operational records, and collaborates with departments across the cooperative to resolve member concerns and improve service delivery. This position supports the Energy Solutions Manager in implementing departmental objectives, evaluating processes, and advancing programs that enhance member satisfaction, strengthen member relationships, and promote the safe, efficient, and beneficial use of electricity.

Requirements
Education
• Minimum: Four (4) year bachelor's degree in Conservation, business administration or related discipline.
• Job-related experience may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Experience
• Minimum: Six (6) years of progressive work experience in the electric utility energy solutions, energy efficiency, metering, renewable energy, or related industry.
• Minimum: Four (4) years of experience in a member or customer service position requiring significant customer interaction within an electrical utility or similar technical service environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of photovoltaic systems, including system components, basic design and operation, safety, troubleshooting considerations, and utility interconnection requirements.
• Experience reviewing or processing solar or distributed energy resource interconnection applications and agreements.
• Minimum: Two years of experience conducting or supporting residential, commercial, solar, or comprehensive energy assessments and audits.
• Preferred: Supervisory, team lead, project lead, or other demonstrated leadership experience.
• Preferred: Certification applicable to residential or commercial energy assessments.
• Preferred: Experience with PowerClerk or similar interconnection management software.
• Preferred: Experience with NISC iVUE, SmartHub, Connect, Marketing, or similar utility information systems.
Technical Skills
• Advanced knowledge of electrical theory and electric energy usage, including voltage, amperage, metering, power consumption, and factors affecting residential and commercial energy use.
• Advanced knowledge of residential and commercial energy assessments, high energy usage investigations, energy efficiency practices, HVAC systems, appliance operation, thermography, renewable energy systems, surge protection, GenerLink, and related member energy technologies.
• Working knowledge of Advanced Metering Infrastructure and the use of interval and consumption data to investigate energy usage concerns.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Energy Solutions operations, Solar Interconnection Agreements, applicable distributed generation or net metering tariffs, and utility interconnection processes.
• Ability to analyze energy usage information, field observations, equipment characteristics, weather impacts, and other relevant data to identify potential causes of elevated or abnormal consumption.
• Ability to interpret program and operational data, identify trends, monitor performance, and recommend corrective actions or process improvements.
• Proficiency with personal computers, operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and applicable corporate software.
• Intermediate or greater Excel skills for aggregating and analyzing operational data, tracking performance, identifying trends, and supporting decision-making.
• Advanced ability to use Word and PowerPoint to prepare professional correspondence, documentation, reports, educational materials, and audience-appropriate presentations.
• Ability to learn and effectively apply new technologies, applications, processes, and systems.
Other Requirements
• Ability to operate a variety of office equipment, including a personal computer, printers, copy machines and telephones.
• Ability to work irregular hours for assignment completion and flexibility to change scheduling and report to work on short notice during emergency situations.
• A valid Florida driver's license for frequent driving privileges of a company vehicle; must have and maintain an acceptable driving record as determined by SECO Energy.
• Some driving includes, but not limited to, travel to all areas of service territory and other facilities as deemed necessary, room setup and breakdown for programs and presentations.
• Some after-hours and weekend travel to provide presentations and promote SECO Energy products and solutions through a variety of community functions.
• Normal work hours shall be eight (8) hours between 7:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Supervisory
This position has responsibility for the direction, coordination and evaluation of employees assigned. This person is expected to perform supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Leadership and Team Management:
• Supervise and mentor the Energy Solutions team, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

Field Services department reporting and tracking:
• Monitor and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to measure success and drive continuous improvement.
• Provide reports related to the Field Services department's performance and operations to the Field Services Manager as requested.
• Ensure Field Services department records are maintained accurately and in accordance with established department policies.
• Prepare correspondence for the Manager and designated department management personnel, as directed.

Engagement and Education:
• Collaborate with Corporate Communications, Growth & SmartGrid, and Member Services to develop member engagement strategies and educational materials to promote energy efficiency and renewable energy adoption.
