Description
Position Title: Administrative Human Resources Associate
Reports to: Director of Human Resources
Primary function: Provide administrative and clerical support within the HR function and assist in projects
Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with HR software or systems, Colleague or Paychex Flex
  • Computer literacy, strong excel skills and proficient with Microsoft Forms
  • Show professionalism working on highly sensitive information daily
  • Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Education: High School Diploma
Experience: Minimum of 2-years general administrative experience
Essential duties:
  • Organize and maintain personnel records
  • Update internal databases, policies and procedures
  • Prepare HR documents like employment agreements, FMLA, OSHA logs, work related injury reports
  • Data entry in benefit systems, Colleague, Paychex Flex
  • Greet employees, schedule appointments, handle simple requests for forms and HR related issues
  • Assist HR department by scanning relevant documents to payroll and employee files
  • Assist with HR projects, onboarding and annual open enrollment
  • Maintain a proactive approach with assigned tasks and possess excellent problem-solving skills
  • Recognizes HR as a key function of the college and the need for confidentiality in the role
