Pay Range: $25.80 to $30.35 per hour

Provide HR support to Management and primarily hourly employees in maintaining employee records, documentation and selecting the best fit candidates for positions. Provide overall support (administrative & clerical, secretarial); to the Human Resources Department Management staff as required as well as providing HR support to the division.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Partner with internal customers to build candidate pipelines based on budget and operational needs.
  • Create, track, and/or report data of various facets of HR functions, including but not limited to Talent Acquisition life cycle and TEAM member services.
  • Utilize a variety of techniques to discover and attract the best talent.
  • Support our diversity hiring efforts for all levels within the organization.
  • Leverage LinkedIn, Indeed, Facebook & other recruiting/social media platforms.
  • Create a world-class candidate experience for all applicants.
  • Communicate sourcing strategies to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain team member records and enters data in HR database.
  • Processes various forms related to documenting HR activities such as new hire, change of status, benefits, terminations, etc.
  • Assist with the review of timecards for new hire team members.
  • Facilitate and conduct new hire orientation and follow up to support onboarding processes.
  • Assist with implementation of policies and tracking related to HR, employee performance, and development.
  • Coach and guide team members on policies and SOPs.
  • Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and performing phone screenings and in person interviews.
  • Take ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.
  • Participate in job fairs and industry related career events, coordinate events with hiring managers.
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates including colleges and universities.
  • Facilitate the offer process by extending job offers and negotiating terms.
  • Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws, regulations, and Foster Farms standards.
  • Assist and back-up HR staff in Department as needed with HR Administration tasks and customer service, including HR front desk coverage.
  • Special projects and other duties as assigned.
