Job Summary
The Bus/Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe, reliable, and timely transportation services for hotel guests to and from designated locations. This role requires operating the hotel's shuttle vehicle, assisting guests with luggage, maintaining accurate driver logs, and ensuring the vehicle is clean and well-maintained. The ideal candidate delivers exceptional customer service, adheres to all traffic laws and company policies, and contributes to a memorable guest experience throughout the journey.
The pay rate for this position is $19 per hour plus tips.
Work Hours
* Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs
*Scheduling includes holidays, nights, and weekends depending on hotel events and functions.
Job Requirements
* Valid Class B Driver License with Passenger ("P") Endorsement Required to safely operate passenger-carrying vehicles - Don't have the required license? Ask us about certification assistance!
* Previous customer service experience preferred
* Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently with limited supervision
* Strong team player with excellent communication skills; able to collaborate effectively with management and coworkers in a professional manner
* Physical ability to bend, squat, push, pull and lift 50lbs regularly to assist with luggage and guest items
Job Responsibilities
* Safely transport hotel guests to and from the property and designated locations per schedule
* Assist guests with lifting, loading, storing, and unloading luggage and personal items
* Maintain accurate up-to-date driver logs in accordance with hotel policy
* Monitor vehicle condition and schedule cleaning and maintenance as needed
* Provide guests with accurate regarding shuttle pick-up/drop-off times
* Verbally welcome and open doors for guests entering or exiting the Hotel front entrance
* Greet guests at their personal vehicles and explain relevant parking information as needed
* Offer helpful local information, assist with directions, and recommend dining, entertainment, shopping, and area attractions when appropriate
* Maintain cleanliness of the front drive, lobby, valet desk, and surrounding furniture and public space
* Support other departments by assisting with duties as needed
* Carry out supervisor requests in alignment with hotel policies, standard operating procedures, and service standards
* Follow established service standards, operational procedures, and safety protocols at all times
* Work cooperatively with co-workers and all hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
* Adhere to attendance and reliability policies
* Perform additional duties as assigned by management to support hotel operations
