Location:Kohler, WI

Opportunity

 The Dining Supervisor I provides support to the restaurant management team through a variety of administrative and operational tasks and additional oversight of front of the house restaurant staff. Manage guest requests, complaints and questions and ensure that all aspects are communicated to the appropriate leadership 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Assist management with daily administrative. 
  • Accurately process all new hire and employee change paperwork in a timely manner. 
  • Greet guests and present them with the menu, informing them about the special items for the day and menu changes if any. 
  • Suggest food and beverages to the guest utilizing appropriate methods to upsell. 
  • Take food and beverage orders from the guest and accurately enter into Point of sale (POS) system. 
  • Process payment transactions.  
  • Clear and reset table settings and linens, as needed. 
  • Communicate to the guest and provide assistance with questions. 
  • Coordinate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operation and guest satisfaction. 
  • Assist with food and beverage service per the course of order. 
  • Promptly respond to guest with any additional request. 
  • Prepare mixed drinks for service to your customers table (must be 18 or over and licensed).  
  • Understand and communicate products and services available at the resort. 
  • Assist with stocking and maintaining the restaurant par stock levels and side station. 
  • Help other areas of the restaurant.  
  • Assist with overseeing the dining room flow and ensuring proper distribution of assigned stations. 
  • Create and execute special projects and assignments. 
  • Assist in answering telephone calls from guests. 
  • Perform the responsibilities of Servers, Bartenders, and Host/ess as needed. 

This is a part-time position working weekends and weekdays. Hours vary between 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm.
