Position Overview

The Programming Manager is responsible for the strategic planning, development, and execution of revenue-generating events, experiences, and programming initiatives across all food and beverage outlets. This role ensures alignment with the brand’s creative vision while driving guest engagement, operational excellence, profitability, and exceptional service experiences.

The Program Manager serves as the primary leader for event programming, vendor partnerships, guest communications, marketing coordination, and event execution. The ideal candidate combines creativity, business acumen, hospitality expertise, project management skills, and event operations experience to create memorable guest experiences that increase revenue, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a seasonal and annual calendar of food and beverage events, activations, and experiences.
  • Create revenue-generating programming aligned with brand standards, guest interests, and market trends.
  • Build relationships with local artisans, makers, vendors, and community partners to enhance event offerings.
  • Negotiate and manage vendor contracts, budgets, and event profitability.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop promotional campaigns, social media content, and event collateral.
  • Create event timelines, run-of-shows, SOPs, and operational plans to ensure successful execution.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for event guests, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead on-site event execution, including setup, hosting, troubleshooting, and breakdown.
  • Monitor event performance, analyze results, and implement continuous improvements through post-event evaluations.
  • Drive guest satisfaction, reputation management, and service recovery efforts.
  • Identify upselling opportunities and strategies to maximize food and beverage revenue.
  • Partner with Food & Beverage, Catering, and Operations teams to ensure seamless event delivery.
  • Train team members on event procedures, service standards, and operational processes.
  • Support restaurant, catering, and resort operations as needed.
  • Travel and work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in hospitality, event management, food and beverage operations, catering, or related field.
  • Experience planning and executing customer-facing events and programs.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, contract management, and event operations.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience with social media marketing, content creation, and event promotion preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
