The Naples Grande Beach Resort reviews applications in the order in which they are received, per position, without regard to the applicant's age, race, ethnic background or religious preferences. Applicants selected for further consideration will be contacted by the hiring team by phone or email. All other applications will be closed for further review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Breakdown, load, unload, catches, and properly sorts all dishes, glassware, and flatware as it is brought to the dish area.
- Wash, sort, and store pots in their proper locations on shelves.
- Wash baseboards, floor drains, hand sinks, tables and cutting boards.
- Sweep and mop all floors and wash all floor mats.
- Transport garbage from kitchen areas to trash room.
- Polish silver, copper, and brass in all areas, as needed.
- Complete all miscellaneous job assignments as directed by supervisor.
- Transport plate ware to the Hot Lines.
- Operates and maintains dish machines.
Education & Experience:
- 6+ months of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or catering facility of similar caliber
preferred.
Skills & Abilities:
- Experience in fast paced, high volume atmosphere.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Position requires regular, reliable attendance.
Physical Requirements:
- Most work tasks are performed indoors, temperature can be very hot with or without control of environmental systems.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to maneuver between stations and areas efficiently and easily.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate kitchen and other equipment.
- Must be flexible to work any time/day of the week, weekends, and holidays if assigned.
