Job Title: Night Auditor (Full-Time, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Location: Holiday Inn Express San Marcos / 900 Barnes Dr San Marcos, TX 78666
Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:
The Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing front desk operations during the overnight shift while ensuring the accuracy of daily financial transactions. This role combines guest service duties with accounting tasks to support smooth hotel operations and prepare reports for the next business day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional guest service by greeting and assisting guests during overnight hours
  • Check guests in and out efficiently and accurately
  • Respond to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns in a professional manner
  • Balance and reconcile daily financial transactions, including room revenue, cash, and credit card payments
  • Run end-of-day reports and complete the night audit process
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for management
  • Ensure the safety and security of guests and the property during overnight hours
  • Perform light housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed
  • Handle emergency situations calmly and effectively

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous front desk, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred
  • Basic accounting or cash-handling experience is a plus
