What is a residential solar installer?

A residential solar installer is a professional who sets up solar panel systems on homes to generate electricity from sunlight. They assess the property, design the solar energy system, and handle the installation and wiring of the panels and related equipment. Installers also ensure the system meets safety standards and local regulations. Many residential solar installers help homeowners understand how to maintain and monitor their new solar systems for optimal performance.

These skills ensure installations are safe, compliant, and meet customer expectations, which is critical for safety and satisfaction in the growing solar industry.
