You’re also expected to maintain compliance with legal quality standards within your facility, handle emergencies concerning correct procedures, and organize activities to create a community and positive relationships among residents. Duties include various administrative tasks and assisting with hiring, promoting, and firing staff as well as orientation, coaching, and training. Desired skills for this career include leadership and team building. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in social sciences, education, or a related field as well as industry experience in senior management or supervisory roles.
