JOB DESCRIPTION
We're looking for a marketing leader to shape and grow our brand, PR, social media, content, and events strategy. You'll help define our core messaging, build brand visibility and reputation, lead thought leadership and media relations, and create compelling content that supports business growth. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of brand or content marketing experience, strong people leadership, excellent writing and strategic skills, PR agency experience, and a proven track record in B2B SaaS.
This position is full-time in the office and based in Atlanta.
Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the VP, Marketing to define and refine the company's core brand messaging and unique value proposition.
  • Develop and lead the company's brand, PR, and event strategy in alignment with defined strategy.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all internal and external communications.
  • Monitor and manage offsite brand reputation.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for PR initiatives with CoStar Group and external agency.
  • Manage PR agency that has responsibility for developing and maintaining relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and industry influencers.
  • Identify and cultivate thought leadership opportunities for key executives and subject matter experts.
  • Oversee the development of thought leadership content, including articles, presentations, and speaking proposals.
  • Stay updated in the latest industry trends, competitor positioning, and customer news.
  • Develop and implement a social media content strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and audience growth. Lead the company's organic social media presence across all relevant platforms.
  • Analyze organic social media performance metrics and provide regular reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitor social channels for trends, mentions, and opportunities for engagement.
  • Partner with Sr Content Manager to develop and execute a robust, data-driven content strategy that aligns with business objectives and key marketing goals.
  • Work cross-functionally with the Sales, Product, and executive teams to gather insights and ensure content aligns with business needs.
  • Work with internal subject matter experts to translate complex topics into engaging and accessible content.
  • Create a variety of marketing content, including emails and organic social, and may include blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, eBooks, website copy, and video scripts.
  • Write and edit content for accuracy, clarity, and brand consistency.
  • Manage, mentor, and guide a Marketing Events resource who will be responsible for executing webinars and events. Team size may increase as business need grows.
  • Responsible for all brand onsite events strategy, execution, and budgets.
  • Manage 3rd party content relationships, content syndication, and webinars.
  • Interview and hire qualified talent as needed and approved.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited, in-person, not-for-profit University or College
  • 10+ years of brand or content marketing experience
  • 2+ years proven ability to hire, retain and develop talent as a people leader
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers
  • Experience working with a PR agency
  • Established website engagement and SEO results
  • 2+ years at a B2B SaaS company
  • Writing and strategy samples
  • A track record of commitment to prior employers
