Job description

Adams Residential Contracting is looking to hire a reliable construction laborer with interest in advancement.

An immediate opening is available for a candidate with initiative, integrity, and accountability looking for long term employment.

Familiarity with residential construction preferred with a minimum of 1-2 years of applicable experience. Adams Residential is looking for a skilled laborer who can work both independently and as part of the team, under the direction of the project manager. This position will assist with all phases of the construction process including but not limited to demolition, site cleanup, framing, general carpentry tasks, material delivery, and debris removal.

Desired Qualifications:

• Under the direction of the Project Manager and Project Supervisor, perform tasks from demolition to punch list efficiently with attention to detail.

• Knowledge of how to use and maintain carpentry tools safely.

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and execute tasks with little supervision and attention to detail.

• Interest in learning to read, interpret, and work from project blueprints and plans.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Excellent customer service skills. With the capability to conduct effective, courteous and professional interactions with subcontractors, material suppliers, office staff, team members, and clients.

• Maintain professional and safe work practice while following company safety and health guidelines.

• Must be reliable and punctual. This includes having reliable transportation and consistent work attendance as this position will be working at multiple project sites in the Greater Seattle area.
