Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Resident Care Oversight: Lead and manage the day-to-day clinical operations, ensuring that all resident care services meet individual needs, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Care Team Leadership: Supervise and support the nursing team, including LPNs, CNAs, and other care staff. Provide training, performance management, and professional development to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Care Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents. Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to resident care, medication administration, and infection control practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular assessments of care practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance care quality and resident satisfaction.
  • Resident & Family Engagement: Foster strong relationships with residents and their families, addressing any concerns promptly and ensuring that care plans align with their needs and preferences.
  • Staff Coordination: Ensure appropriate staffing levels based on resident needs, and assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing staff.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident care records and reports, ensuring timely and appropriate documentation of care plans, assessments, and any incidents.
  • Health & Safety: Monitor and enforce safety standards, infection control protocols, and medication management practices to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy environment for all residents.

Qualifications:
  • LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license (required)
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role in healthcare, particularly in senior living or assisted living settings (required)
  • Strong knowledge of resident care regulations, medication management, and care plan development
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
