Job Description:

UF College of Medicine - Jacksonville is seeking to hire three Gastroenterologists to join UF Health at Durbin Park in St. Johns, Florida. We are seeking candidates with broad clinical experience in gastroenterology. The candidates must be MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology with experience in all aspects of evaluation and treatment including minimally invasive procedures. Duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Provide high quality patient care in all aspects of Gastroenterology services
  • Work collaboratively with members of the healthcare team including nurse practitioners, nursing staff, pharmacists, etc.
  • Responsible for excellent communication with primary care providers, consulting services and other referring providers
  • Assist in marketing the gastroenterology program to community physicians and managed care organizations
  • Participate in peer review, quality assurance, provider/departmental meetings, and other clinical and operational meetings as requested.

  • Certification/Licensure in the state of Florida and Federal DEA Certification.
  • Medical Degree - M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent.
