Job Summary and Responsibilities

In our National Nurse Residency Program, you will function as a direct clinical care RN Resident nurse, developing essential knowledge, skills, and behaviors as you transition into practice. You are expected to achieve appropriate competency across all core and functional areas. (February 2027 Cohort)

Every day you will integrate our mission, vision, and values, prioritizing patient-centered care, taking ownership, and collaborating effectively with your team. You will actively engage in clinical performance improvement and ensure patient safety.

You’re not just starting a nursing job, you’re joining a community that’s here to support you every step of the way. Through our National Nurse Residency Program (NNRP), newly licensed RNs are welcomed into a 12-month, evidence-based experience designed to help you build confidence, strengthen your skills, and feel truly prepared from day one.

Track Avaliable at St. Vincent North: Critical Care

We are offering a sign on bonus up to $15,000 depending on hires who meet the eligibility requirements. We also offer additional pay for participation in our clinical ladder as well as referral bonuses, excellent benefits, and relocation assistance. 

Job Requirements

Required

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, upon hire
  • Registered Nurse: AR, upon hire and
  • Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support, within 9 - months
