Job Description
Our client is seeking a Systems Analyst for a contract opportunity. The OSIS Workplace Systems Analyst serves as the primary OSIS subject matter expert responsible for supporting workplace space data synchronization between ARCHIBUS, OSIS, and Microsoft Places.
Pay Rate: Up to $42.50 per hour
The role has two primary responsibilities:
  1. Microsoft Places Migration: Configure workplace hierarchies in OSIS, establish buildings and floors, link conference rooms, create desk entities, and support the migration of workplace space data into Microsoft Places.
  2. Ongoing Operations: Execute and monitor recurring publishing processes, validate publishing results, troubleshoot issues, and ensure workplace changes continue to flow successfully from ARCHIBUS through OSIS into Microsoft Places.

ARCHIBUS data ownership resides with the Occupancy Planning team. The analyst works with Occupancy Planning to resolve source data issues and collaborates with Microsoft 365 administrators and OSIS support teams to resolve Microsoft Places and platform-related issues.
The role partners closely with Occupancy Planning, Workplace Services, Facilities Planning, OSIS support teams, and Microsoft 365 administrators to deliver a reliable workplace reservation experience for rooms, desks, and offices. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Degree in Computer Science
  2. 3+ years of overall IT experience as an Microsoft 365 Systems Administrator
  3. Strong communication and organizational skills
Microsoft Places Migration & Onboarding
  • Serve as the primary OSIS super user during Microsoft Places implementation activities.
  • Configure OSIS building and floor hierarchies based on ingested ARCHIBUS data, link existing conference rooms, and create new desk entities for Microsoft Places.
  • Support onboarding of buildings, floors, rooms, offices, and desks into Microsoft Places.
  • Validate migration results and resolve onboarding issues.
  • Support testing and post-deployment validation activities.
Ongoing Publishing & Operations
  • Execute recurring publishing and synchronization processes from ARCHIBUS through OSIS into Microsoft Places.
  • Monitor daily and weekly publishing activities to ensure successful completion.
  • Validate workplace changes published to Microsoft Places.
  • Troubleshoot publishing failures, synchronization issues, and workplace hierarchy discrepancies.
  • Coordinate issue resolution with Occupancy Planning, OSIS support teams, and Microsoft 365 administrators.
Validation & Support
  • Verify rooms, desks, offices, and workplace spaces appear correctly in Microsoft Places.
  • Confirm spaces are available and functioning as expected for employees.
  • Identify and investigate discrepancies between OSIS and Microsoft Places.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews before and after publishing activities.
Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Partner with Occupancy Planning on ARCHIBUS data-related issues.
  • Collaborate with Workplace Services and Facilities Planning on workplace changes.
  • Coordinate with Microsoft 365 administrators regarding Microsoft Places functionality and support.
  • Maintain publishing procedures, operational documentation, and validation guidelines.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years supporting workplace technology, facilities systems, workplace operations, or enterprise applications.
  • Experience with OSIS, Microsoft Places, ARCHIBUS, or similar workplace management platforms.
  • Experience supporting data migrations, system implementations, or publishing processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, data validation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and workplace reservation technologies.
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Success Measures
  • Successful migration of workplace spaces into Microsoft Places.
  • Accurate OSIS workplace hierarchy configuration and publishing.
  • Reliable execution of daily and weekly publishing processes.
  • High-quality employee reservation experience for rooms, desks, and offices.
